Through this training we are going to
start learning about project scheduling right from scratch by first
understanding the practice standards for scheduling, we will get an
overview of schedule model. Further we are going to understand the
schedule development process and its various key components. We will
also learn the schedule model good practice overview which includes
steps namely designing the schedule model, Elements of Developing a Good
Schedule, developing the framework etc. We will then look at the
practical application part of the same wherein we would look at the best
industry practices for schedule creation. This course specifically
focuses on the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® certification which
is one of the most popular project scheduling certification for
professionals. A globally recognized credential, PMI-SP certification
program is governed by the PMI and is offered to professionals who
attempt and qualify the exam. The Practice Standard for Scheduling
course has been designed considering key focus on PMI-Schedule
Professional (PMI-SP) certification as a complement to the Guide of
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) in the knowledge area of
Project Time Management. The Practice Standard for
Scheduling defines the meaning of a schedule as two distinct terms,
