COURSE DESCRIPTION
Textbooks and mandarin courses often lack real
word usefulness, teaching stilted phrases that no one really says in
China. In this course we look at real word situations and tasks that
non-chinese face in China on a regular basis that require speaking
mandarin. This is a real mandarin Chinese for the real world. Don't waste your time learning things no one says or can understand!
Taught
by a native chinese speaker and a non-native chinese as a second
language speaker using dialogues written from real life interactions
between native Chinese. Each lesson is selected to emphasize
interactions that non-chinese face in China on a regular basis. Real chinese for real life.

Each lesson of this course includes an introduction, dialogue in
chinese between two native speakers (fast, medium and slow), dialogue
translated into english, a detailed discussion and dissection of the
dialogue, key vocabulary summary of the dialogue, a review quiz and even
